Artist Statement

Born in 1982 in Pescara, Italy

Luca investigates memory in a multifaceted environment made of fragments, experiences and internal discourse.

The artist's work investigates the sign through instantaneous gestures, including different materials and supports and exploring spray paints, acrylics and printing materials. His research is influenced by digital contamination and video installations, seeking dialogue between environments.

Luca reflects on personal and collective issues, addressing themes of relationships, lack, existence and nostalgia. He does so with the typical traits of memory: unreliability, inconsistency, rewriting, omission.

Through his experimentation, Luca builds bridges and rainbows between structures with different languages and alphabets.
